According to The Pulse Of Radio, Courtney Love took to Instagram to thank her late husband Kurt Cobain for the impact he had on her life.
The letter reads:
“That Christmas moment in everyones lives that you never forget, the one that makes you feel on top of the world, where the greatest gifts are the loved ones you shared that moment with. Well, this is mine, I’m grateful to have ever experienced that moment. Merry Christmas, Kurt, the greatest true love I’ve ever experienced in my life. You gave me the gift that makes life worth living, our incredibly talented, loving, beautiful and gifted daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Merry Christmas, Bean. Love, mom and dad.”
It isn’t the first time Courtney addressed Kurt from Instagram. In August, she posted an emotional appeal to him, saying: “Makes me feel so sad. Our baby is all grown up now. Jesus, Kurt, look at her face, what on earth were you thinking. God, I miss you, we all miss you #family #memories #turnbacktime #lovehim.”
Matt Cameron on songwriting: “I don’t really try to differentiate what goes where. I just try to keep writing as much as I can… Pearl Jam likes to include one of my songs just to give it a different flavor, but as with Soundgarden I think my music sort of fits the overall sound of the band.”
28th Nov 1991, Nirvana recorded a performance for BBC TV music show Top Of The Pops in London. When asked to lip-sync ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ to a pre-recorded tape Kurt Cobain protested by singing an octave lower (he later confirmed he was imitating Morrisey from The Smiths), and attempted to eat his microphone at one point. He also changed some of the lyrics, exchanging the opening line “load up on guns, bring your friends,” for “load up on drugs, kill your friends.”

To wake up and hear such sad news is not a good beginning of Friday at all… 😦
Let me commemorate him with Creep, my favourite song of Stone Temple Pilots.
And I’ll have to make yet another little valley in this virtual graveyard.
